Aligning Assessment and Feedback with Proficiency Goals

This self-paced microcourse introduces world language educators to practical strategies for aligning assessment and feedback with proficiency goals. Participants will explore how to design performance-based assessments that measure what students can do with language, evaluate communication using level-appropriate criteria, and provide focused feedback that highlights strengths and supports continued growth. Through reflection, application, and opportunities to connect with fellow educators in the Greenhouse Community, participants will gain practical tools for aligning communicative goals, assessment, and feedback to move students forward in their language development.
