Integrating Intercultural Communication

This self-paced microcourse introduces world language educators to practical strategies for integrating intercultural communication into everyday instruction. Participants will explore how authentic cultural resources, comparison, and perspective-based questions can move students beyond learning cultural facts toward interpreting meaning and understanding diverse perspectives. Through a sample lesson, reflection, application, and opportunities to connect with fellow educators in the Greenhouse Community, participants will learn to design meaningful tasks that integrate language and culture and help students interpret, compare, and respond to the world around them.
