Supporting and Encouraging Student Output

This self-paced microcourse introduces world language educators to practical strategies for supporting and encouraging student output. Participants will explore how proficiency-aligned scaffolds, structured practice, and frequent opportunities for interaction can help students speak and write successfully at their current proficiency level. Through reflection, application, and opportunities to connect with fellow educators in the Greenhouse Community, participants will learn how to encourage risk-taking, prioritize meaningful communication over perfect accuracy, and create supportive opportunities for all students to use the target language.
